With decades of experience at some of the world’s most prestigious hospitals and cancer centers, the Precision Imaging Metrics team possesses an unparalleled understanding of imaging technology, workflow and reporting needs of cancer centers, radiologists, clinicians and trial sponsors.
Our co-directors, Gordon Harris and Annick D. Van den Abbeele, have spent decades creating innovative solutions to meet the challenges inherent in imaging research. Pioneers in quantitative medical imaging, they saw that lack of a central, formalized system was creating workflow inefficiencies, compromising data quality and timeliness, and ultimately inflating clinical trial expense, lowering trial efficacy, and leaving clinicians without information needed for treatment decisions.
Charting our evolution
In 2004, Dr. Harris and Dr. Van den Abbeele founded the Core Lab: Tumor Imaging Metrics Core (TIMC) at the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center. Since then, the Core Lab has analyzed over 45,000 scans for almost 1000 clinical trials. This vast experience is the foundation on which Precision Imaging Metrics – and its flagship Metrics Manager application – has been built.
Today, Precision Imaging Metrics is helping cancer centers across the country produce higher-quality and timelier imaging data for enhanced clinical trials and patient care. Contact us to learn more about how we can add value to your organization.
